Splitting the Qualm'a ni

Reason: These cats (cougar and lynx), and their associated myths and legends, are very different in character and purpose so I have split them into separate species.
Klandagi
The Lords of the Forest
(Mountain Lion,/Cougar/Swamp Cat/Catamount/Puma)
Thunderbird struck his wings four times across the mountains: once to the east, once to the west, once to the north, once to the south. Boulders tumbled, and the winds rose high. Those winds drew the dust from the land into a column, and as the column raged across the land, the column swept up people, cats and other things. In the swamps and on the plains and throughout the forests and mountains, Thunderbird’s storm dropped debris. Some of the things that had been spun up in that tornado were so scrambled up they forgot what they had been. Still dizzy, they began walking. And some of them are wandering still. . .
As a breed, the Klandagi are quintessentially American. North American, South American, it doesn't matter. All appear as cougars/pumas/mountain lions in their Primal forms, a rare few of them are black as night and are just as much "panther" as any Balam or Bagrasha (panther just means "black cat" and doesn't denote any species). Every member of this breed is a wanderer; some are sociable, others solitary.
Breed Favors: Blend In, Earthbond, Fang and Claw 2 (L)
Breed Bonus: Through the Klandagi’s bond with the elements, these ferals add +1 to dice pools involving Earthbond or Territory Bond (assuming the character has one or both of those Aspects). For a Klandagi, anywhere in rural or wilderness Americas is considered “territory” for that Aspect’s Bond. In addition, Klandagi are known as “panthers” (black cats) for a reason. When spending a point of essence, Klandagi gain +3 to all Stealth or surprise dice pools for the scene – or until cancelled – when attempting to hide in shadows or darkness and their fur actually changes black for the duration of this ability.

Qualm’a ni
Riddlers of the Road
(Revised; Lynx, Bobcat, etc.)
The Qualm’a ni have many stories. Some make more sense than others, but few make much sense at all. Or do they? These riddling cats love to test their companions and impart subtle clues about life in the stories they tell. So the Qualm’a ni weave allegories and metaphors into tall tales, then judge their company’s relative worth by whether or not they can tease out truth from fantasy.
Some appear as lynxes in their Primal forms, while others resemble huge bobcats or Maine coon cats. One and all, the Qualm’a ni contrary, with laconic humor and a tendency to lie. Every member of this breed is a wanderer; some are sociable, others solitary. The Qualm’a ni display a knack for getting into trouble, and often draw other people into their circumstances by default. Assuming that those people can answer (or at least put up with) a Qualm’a ni’s constant riddling, they might make themselves a loyal friend. This breed prizes cleverness, and chooses companions accordingly.
Breed Favors: Clever Monkey, Fang and Claw 2 (L)
Breed Bonus: Qualm’a ni have strong Mental and Social Attributes, and receive a free Specialty to both one Mental Skill and one Social Skill. In addition, the Qualm’a ni have a predilection toward puzzles and riddles. When faced with a strange mystery, they may spend a point of essence to gain +3 dice to one Mental Skill that relates to the mystery.
